Whisky tasting in St Andrews
Dubber and Clutch are hosting two exclusive events at the St Andrews Town Hall during the Golf Open this week.
On Thursday 15th July, we’ll be sampling some rare treats from the Douglas Laing collection. On Friday 16th July, it’s the turn of Whyte & Mackay.
Tickets are just £39 and include an evening of history, traditional Scottish folklore, and SIX premium single malt and boutique blend tastings. Whether you’re a connoisseur or a complete newcomer to the world of Scotch whisky, these events promise to be a fascinating evening and the perfect way to celebrate your stay in Scotland.

Whether it’s a boardroom group of 20 or a conference of 200, a group of friends, or a special occasion – you can share the whisky tasting experience.
We can custom design an event to meet your needs and specifications, with prices to suit. The events can be themed in different ways – for instance: a selection of 15 year-old vintages to coincide with an anniversary; a focus on a single distillery; a historical theme; or even a ‘virtual distillery tour’, in which we take you through the whole whisky making process.
Why not celebrate Christmas, Hogmanay, Burns Night or St Andrew’s Day with us?
Packages include:
Our standard two-hour corporate evening event. Five exceptional whiskies explored and explained.
A short, informal tasting event perfect for an after-event. Three whiskies compared and contrasted.
You heard us. Like a champagne breakfast, only much, much better. Whisky. Before lunch.
An affordable introduction to the world of whisky tasting. Fun, informal nights for the casual enthusiast.
Dubber and Clutch tastings are entertaining events that incorporate generous samplings of the best whiskies, the fascinating stories behind the drams, as well as blind tasting competitions, and more.
Twist our arm, and we can even be persuaded to contribute a superb musical soundtrack for the event. Recorded mixes made especially for the occasion, a jazz DJ set – even a live band. Let us know and we can work something out.
NOTE: All events are subject to a minimum of three weeks advance notice with a 50% non-refundable deposit payable at the time of booking.
